Story card:
The Celtic peoples of Ireland had an amazing ability to blend the old with the new. This piece is inspired by that ability. On the one end is a Celtic cross, itself a blend of Christianity and the ancient knot work that symbolizes the interconnectedness of Life. On the other is the double spiral which, for me, represents the concept of the Deep Feminine. All this, blended with the green of Erin’s isle is anchored, in love, with the small Celtic heart.

2. The Irish Celts seamlessly blended the Paganism that came before with the Christianity that came later. Their willingness to expand the definition of what their new religion could be can be a starting point for your own meditations. What outside spiritual practices do you (or could you) seamlessly blend with your primary religion? What rings true for you that you may have been avoiding for fear of the new competing with the old?
